Hello friends, I felt like a devlog was the least obtrusive way to let you know that another one of my games, Lighthearted, is live on Kickstarter!

The world of Lighthearted is the assumed setting for Sigils in the Dark. If you enjoyed thinking about your dark mage's day job and other modern fantasy tropes you will probably dig the neon-fantasy world of Lighthearted.

Lighthearted is a game where you get to play characters like the kids in The Breakfast Club, except you are just about to start magic community college. The light game mechanics help us reimagine the classic coming of age stories of the 1980s, but with a modern fantasy spin. The system, drawn from Savage Worlds and Powered by the Apocalypse games, focuses on the character's motivation and their emotional struggle in any given moment to create both internal and external conflicts. It leans into 80-movie tropes by using focusing on camera angles, lighting, and yes… even an 80s soundtrack. So grab your skateboard and calf-warmers and hang at the mall before class starts!
