hi there, just wondering if any community copies would be released into the wild before Christmas

It’s a tough month for me without family and I’m after some good games to help cope with the holiday period. Kind regards

Hi! Really enjoyed the zine.

Would it be possible to have a version without the lines for easier printing? I'd really like to make a physical version at home with my leftover lined paper from school haha

I bought this on DriveThru earlier today but figured I'd leave a comment here because its easier: There's a typo in the Needs table: "My pet is broght home" should be "brought". No big deal, just figured I'd highlight it. :)

Anyway, about to play now! Super excited.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to get an update out soon.

Found another typo. Hope you don't mind me highlighting these!

"Increas the die rolled on the cost table for each cost upgrade in the Segments or Symbols table."

Should be "increase".

Also object #12 on the roll table seems to be in a different font.

I created my first two spells last night and it was great! So fun to figure out what the spell does. I'll be sure to leave a rating/review later.

I dont understand how the amount of symbols are determined? The manual shows a 5 pointed sigil with both 2 and 4 symbols.

You can include as many sigils as you can fit. They increase the chance that you roll high on the cost table.

The printer friendly version isn't very printer friendly.  Would it be possible to upload a version without the page lines?

I should be able to get that up in the next couple days.

awesome thanks! Enjoying the game

I played the game as a middle-class warlock trying to achieve his American dream. It was fun! You can see my book of spells here.

This is awesome! Thanks for sharing your playthrough.

I am often home alone with nothing to do, but don't have a Twitter. Any chance I can snag an Isolation copy in the near future?

Yep, just added 30 more

New Bestie Acquired! I'll leave feedback when I start playing! Thank you so much! :)

Hi, I really like this game but I have a rules clarification I'd like to ask. What does increasing the cost of Segments actually do? The number of Symbols determines how many dice you roll, and the number of points in the circle determines how many times you roll those dice. The size of the die for each Symbol starts as a d6 but increases with cost, so a 3 point circle with all new Segments and a new Symbol is simply rolling 1d6, like the example. But if I have a 3 point circle, and I rolled for the Segments and got two new ones but then rolled a Segment I previously had, it says I should upgrade the cost of that. So I have a 3 point circle with a Symbol and two Segments without a cost increase, but one Segment with a cost increase. But by the rules I would still only roll a d6 one time, for a 3 point circle with a Symbol with no cost increase. So I am unsure of what increasing Segment costs does.

Hey, glad you're enjoying the game.
On page 6, under Cost Upgrades, it says to increase the die size for each cost upgrade in the Segments or Symbols table. That should probably say Segments and Symbols table. In your example you'd be rolling a single d8.

Ahh okay, makes sense, thanks! And great job, I really am loving the game!

It looks like someone did a playthrough of Sigils a while back so I thought I'd share incase people wanted to check it out!

I'm interested in translate this game to spanish, just to ensure this is playable in the spanish-speaking world. If I get your permission I'll send a PDF for you to distribute (if you want), in any way you like.

Hola. Alguna respuesta del autor a la hora de poder traducirlo? A mi también me interesa en castellano, pero mejor aunar esfuerzos que duplicarlos.

Por desgracia ninguna, y ya hace tiempo que le consulté, así que me temo que no esté interesado.

My apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I had a loss in my family about 8 months ago and I totally missed this. Can you send me an email kurt(at)lighthearted.games

oh!, so sorry. Best Regards.

You got it in your email :)

Thanks again.

Thank you! Looking for someone on my end to give it a once over. Will be in touch!

Would love to see additional isolation copies added!

Are you still giving out isolation copies?

Yep, just added more.

Thank you so much :) You're a lifesaver

this helped me through 10 days of isolation stuck in a tiny flat, 10/10 would recommend.

I’m so glad it helped you out.

Fantastic game that's not only fun but surprisingly useful to all GMs out there. Read our review here: https://podofblunders.com/2021/07/16/sigils-in-the-dark/

Just added more.

A scholar&gentleman! I'll be back in a day or so with your monetary sacrifice. You've earned it. Your response time almost made me blush. Excellent customer service rating. 5's across the the board. Imma pay these bills, then imma come back and donate you so hard...😬😏

Thank you. :)

You’re very welcome.

Is there anywhere to get physical copies?

Not at the moment.

Thanks for the quick reply! If it ever becomes a reality, I'd definitely be interested!

The core of this game is great to use for world-building as you can develop sigils that you can then use with or against your players. Since you already have the core data from each line, it can work in depth.

I had to make some tweaks to the concept in order to make it work for me, but even at its core it is still functional. There are some rough patches, but they can be corrected and adjusted.

A simple but elegant game that lets you tell a story and create an interesting narrative artifact all at the same time. Love it.

I adore ttrpg/sigilcraft crossover episodes.  Gamifying chaos magic is so obvious yet absurd.  Cheers!
